JALAH, Aug 27 – A seminar on “Present framework of NAAC Assessment: Role of stake holders” organised by Internal Quality Assessment Cell was held at the BB Kishan College premises under Jalah Circle in Baksa district and was attended by students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff of the Jalah BB Kishan College and guardians recently. Dr Krishna Gopal Bhattacharya, director of Academic Staff College, Gauhati University took part in the seminar as the resource person. Dr Bhattacharya said that “the college organisation primarily aims at creating a suitable environment for the growth and development of students’. It constitutes the structure, physical facilities and human material.All these materials in themselves are very important”.
The seminar was presided over by Dr Pratap Chandra Nag, in-charge principal of Jalah BB Kishan College while Chakradhar Deka, head of the department of Sanskrit of the college, explained the purpose of the meeting. ASSAM TRIBUNE
