Apart from this, other agendas are — construction of three mini stadiums in the premises of Bikali College, Dhupdhara in Goalpara district, Jawaharlal Nehru College at Boko in Kamrup district and Pantan High School at Chhaygaon in Kamrup district; construction of gym building at Boko with equipment; distribution of foot ball to the 650 clubs, volley balls to 206 clubs and carom board to 98 clubs; distribution of school kits to 10,057 students including school bag, exercise book, scale and other accessories; training to 2,500 beneficiaries by the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department and Panchayat and Rural Development Department; drinking water facilities through installation of 644 Singur hand tube well; distribution of power tiller to the 12 registered organizations; distribution of power pump to 105 farmers; plantation in various locations with 1650 saplings covering 28 bighas of land under Soil Conservation Department, Forest Department and Tribal Welfare Department; infrastructure development of four colleges’ existing library at the Dudhnoi College, Dudhnoi and Bikali College, Dhupdhara in Goalpara district and Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko and Chhaygaon College, Chhaygaon in Kamrup district; Rajen Pam Memorial Cultural Award to the prominent artists and Rajen Rabha Memorial Literary Award to the prominent scholars; construction of 10 waiting sheds at different places under Social Welfare Department and Town and Country Planning Department; construction of statue/sculpture on Raja Boha Sil at the premises of Archeological Centre, Boko and construction of New Museum building at Boko with infrastructure development. RHAC to erect statue of Rabha
GUWAHATI, July 10: Rabha Hasong Chief Executive Member Dr Sarat Chandra Rabha in a meeting in the city announced under the 100-day programme of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) that life-size statue of two prominent Rabha leaders, Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha and Lt Sabyashashi Rabha (first Chief Executive Member of RHAC), will be constructed.
