GUWAHATI, Sept 24 – The AGP today formally announced its central executive committee for the term 2008-11. Ousted president Brindaban Goswami, however, has got a place as executive member. While Chandra Mohan Patowary is the president and Phani Bhushan Choudhury is the working president, the committee has ten vice-presidents, 11 general secretaries, 12 joint secretaries and 17 organizational secretaries. The vice-presidents are Thaneswar Bodo, Prabin Kumar Gogoi, Hiranya Konwar, Joseph Toppo, Dr Arun Kumar Sarma, Jatin Mali, Pradip Hazarika, Durgadas Bodo, Kumar Dipak Das and Dr Alaka Sarma. The general secretaries are Birendra Prasad Baishya, Hitendra Nath Goswami, Dilip Kumar Saikia, Atul Bora, Sarbananda Sonowal, Ramendra Narayan Kalita, Girindra Kumar Baruah, Nurul Hussain, Padma Hazarika, Dr Kamala Kalita and Jagadish Bhuyan. source: assam tribune

AGP executive committee formed
