How To Apply:
1.Use only the current year application form. Application Form issued in the previous years will not be considered.
2.Fill in the application form legibly after reading the prospectus. Indicate the programme you wish to study i.e., MLISc in the space provided for the purpose . Under no circumstance your application will be transferred to another programme for registration. Separate application is to be submitted for each programme.
3.Tuition/Programme fee, Registration fee, Eligibility fee, Penal fee (if any) should be paid through the Bank Challan enclosed along with the application. Students should write her/his name on the Bank Challan along with application number, programme. The Students should keep 'Student Copy' of Challan with them, and filled in application should be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Admission). The students residing in Other States may obtain the D.D in favour of Finance Officer, KSOU, Manasagangotri, Mysore, and submit along with the application. All fees must be remitted in one instalment only.
4.Candidates should send Four copies of stamp size photographs of which one must be affixed to the application form. The other three copies must be sent in a separate cover. On the back of each of these photographs the candidate must mention her/his name, class and serial number of the admission application form.
5.Before you remit the prescribed fees please make sure that you fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the programme applied for. Applications by ineligible candidates will be rejected. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.
6.Candidates should send their application form to the above mentioned address, by Registered post so as to reach him on or before the last date. Indicate on the cover the programme for which you are applying :
7.After the admission is approved by the University, the original marks cards will be returned.
8.Students are advised to take back their original marks cards immediately after verification.
9.Admission made to any programme is provisional till it is approved by the University.
10. Candidates have to submit filled in examination application form along with the KSOU Bank Challan within the prescribed date.
Students should bring Identification Card and Fees paid Challan with them whenever they visit the University, Regional Centre, should be shown on demand.
