Read the instructions very carefully before starting.
Log in to the exam site using username and password
One exam attempt is allowed per registration

This is a timed test. The clock at the top of the exam screen will help to track the time allotted for the exam. After 45 minutes, the student will be automatically sign out of the exam.

THERE WOULD NOT BE ANY BREAK .

For each Level of the Olympiad, there is a large pool of potential questions ranging from a low to high level of difficulty.
Only one question at a time is presented. Allow the page to load completely before answering questions. The page may take a moment or two to load completely. If you begin scrolling or answering questions before it loads completely, it might not load all please wait for a while.
You may start and but you can’t pause the exam in-between. Once you finish the exam you will need to submit it for your score to be recorded.
Navigating through the exam is a simple process. Next (go to Next Question), Back ( go to Previous Question)
Once you move to the next question, the previous answer will be saved and recorded.

DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE. If you did so, then your exam will be submitted at that point of time.
Concentrate on the questions and read them carefully. Read all the answers properly before submitting. Even if you think you have the right answer, read all the given answers.
Select the best answer for each question. Then click Next Question.To reanswer a question candidate can navigate to select the answered question and reselect the right option.
If you are not sure about an answer and want to reconsider it later, you can simply skip the question by clicking next.
Candidates need to answer maximum number of questions in 45 minutes; Wrong answers carry negative marks i.e. for every 4 wrong answer one mark will be deducted.
Force Completion: Once you begin the exam, you are required to complete it in one session. As soon as you leave the exam, you will not be able to access it again. So, pace yourself accordingly so that you have enough time to finish the test.
Parent/Monitor must be present with the candidate during the entire exam for certain Level i.e. Level I and II (Class VI to X students).
Gyanwave.com would not be liable for power interruption in your home, office, school or whatever venue you choose for your exam.
Gyanwave.com would not be liable for the speed provided by your ISP, network connectivity or any internet, software or hardware inadequacies.
However, do not panic if the page closes while the internet is yet processing your submission or your time isall your data will still be captured. And your Submission will be counted.
Please click on the relevant level according to your eligibility. DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY OTHER LEVEL attempting any other level will led to the your disqualification.

What Computer Skills do you need?
You need only minimal computer skills to complete the Olympiad.
Basic Knowledge of using Computer, Keyboard and a mouse
Internet connection. When deciding on a time to take your exam, take into account times when your connection seems to slow
down or lose connectivity
Required browser: Internet Mozilla 3.0, Chrome & Internet Explorer 8.0 higher.
If you are using a dialup connection: The user’s internet connection must be maintained for the duration of the exam. In order for their internet connection to not time-out, set the idle time before hanging up to never.

How is my score determined?
the total number of questions you have answered correctly in maximum of 45 min,
whether you answered the questions correctly or incorrectly, and
The level of difficulty and other statistical characteristics of each question.
The questions in an adaptive test are weighted according to their difficulty and other statistical properties, not according to their position in the test.
The Exam will be available from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM IST.
