New Batch Inauguration at Fortune Institute of International Business

"Take a fresh guard through a result oriented approach to learning, duly aligned with a goal for success", said Mr Subhinder Singh, Managing Director, Reebok India, as Chief Guest at inaugural function for 15th batch of MBA students at Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi.
His advice to students was to use natural talent, have focus and purpose with commitment to developing abilities as mantra of success. He laid emphasis on honing communication skills for long term success and sustainability as management practitioners. "Communication is like a boomerang. The response you get depends on how you throw it," said Mr. Singh. Have big dreams, craft a vision and reach for the sky were his concluding remarks.
Prof. A.K. Puri, Director General of the Institute, welcomed the new batch of students. He said that the gloom of recession among developed economies carried a ray of hope from the relatively robust growth of developing economies like India and China. This environment offers opportunities to Indian management professionals to show their mettle to rest of the world. With gleam in eyes, perseverance in action and faith in them Fortune Institute students as managers in their professional career are well poised to grab the opportunities to emerge as CEO's in the business world. They owe it to India and fellow countrymen to create wealth for its well being, said Prof. A. K. Puri in his address.
Mrs. Radhika Shrivastav, Vice President, congratulated the new students on having made it to the Institute. She advised them to take their learning experience at Fortune Institute as a "laboratory" and to learn by making connections with peers, faculty and most importantly- with the self. She stressed on shaping one's leadership style by taking risks and becoming responsible citizens by looking beyond class room and enhancing their individual behavioural skills.
Meritorious senior students of the Institute were also felicitated for their academic performance at the ceremony. Mansi Duggal, Kamal Kishore Aggarwal & Jaya Tiwari, rank holders for first year exams, were awarded certificates and mementoes by Mr Subhinder Singh, the Chief Guest, for their academic excellence.
Priya, a fresher, representing the new batch said, "We could not have a better person than Mr. Subhinder Singh as Chief Guest for the ceremony". He as an icon for us and we are elated at having been initiated by him to the learning of management.
