Durga Puja in Massachusetts USA

Bengalees of New England cordially invites you and your family to attend the three days of Durga Puja Festival to be held on

October 3rd, 4th, and 5th October 2008, at the

Marshall Middle School, Billerica.

We have three days of festivities for you,
including performances by these well-known artists from Kolkata:
Sampa Kundu on October 3th,
Pt. Narayan Bhattacharya on October 5th.


Sampa Kundu is a classically trained singer, who is at home with a wide range of Bengali Adhunik, and Raag Pradhan songs.

She has performed in numerous concerts both in India and abroad. She has several hit albums to her credit and is a regular artist on Kolkata Doorsarhan and Radio.

Sampa will be performing on October 3rd.

Bengalees of New England (BNE) is an association of people in Greater Boston, whose mother tongue is Bengali — or who are otherwise interested in the heritage of Bengal. Our aim is to promote traditional and modern art forms of Bengalees, including (but not limited to) language, customs, dress, food, music, dance, poetry, drama, literature. BNE builds friendship and understanding between the people of Bengal, India and other countries.
