BHUBANESWAR, Sept. 29: In order to cater to the extra rush during Durga Puja the East Coast Railway has decided to run two pairs of special trains between Howrah and Visakhapatnam.
The 0803 Howrah-Mysore special train will leave Howrah at 4.10 p.m. on 3 and 10 October (both Saturdays) and will arrive in Mysore at 7.40 a.m. on the following day. The 0804 Mysore-Howrah special train will leave Mysore at 8.45 p.m. on 5 and 12 October (both Sundays) and will reach Howrah at 4.20 p.m. the following Tuesday. These two trains will go via Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
The 0746 Hyderabad-Howrah special train will leave Hyderabad at 11.00 p.m. on 1, 3, 5 and 7 October and will reach Howrah at 3.25 a.m.. Similarly the 0745 Howrah-Hyderabad special train will leave Howrah at 4.40 p.m. on 3, 5, 7 and 10 October and arrive at Hyderabad at 8.20 p.m. The two trains will go via Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
The 0509 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 7.40 p.m. on every Tuesday between 7 October to 30 December and reach Nizamabad at 11.55 a.m. the following Wednesday. Similarly 0510 Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam weekly train will leave Nizamabad at 6.15 p.m. every Wednesday between 8 October and 31 December and will reach Visakhapatnam at 10.15 a.m. the following Thursday.
The 0748 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Hyderabad at 7.30 p.m. on 30 September and on 2, 5, 10, 17 and 24 October and will reach Visakhapatnam at 8.30 a.m. the next day. The 0747 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 8.00 p.m. on 1, 3, 6, 11, 18 and 25 October and will reach Hyderabad at 8.50 a.m. the next day.
