Bhubaneswar, Sept 19: In order to clear extra rush of travelling passengers on the eve of Durga Puja and Diwali, East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run weekly superfast special trains to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Mumbai, Howrah, Secunderabad and Chennai from and through its jurisdiction.
0880 Bhubaneswar-LTT weekly superfast special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 07.20 am on every Monday between September 22 and November 3 and reach LTT at 01.35 pm on the next days.
In the return direction, 0879 LTT-Bhubaneswar weekly superfast special train will leave LTT at 00.15 am on every Wednesday (Midnight of Tuesday) between September 24 and November 5 and reach Bhubaneswar at 07.10 am on the following days.
The weekly superfast special Train will have stoppages at Cuttack, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Champa, Bilaspur, Raipur, Nagpur, Akola, Bhusabal, Manmad, Nasik Road and Kalyan between Bhubaneswar and LTT. It will run with a composition of eight sleeper class coaches, one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, three general second class, two general second class–cum–luggage van and one pantry car.
0896 Puri-Howrah weekly Durga Puja superfast special train will leave Puri at 10.00 pm on every Sunday between September 28 and November 26 and reach Howrah at 07.05 am on the next days. In the return direction, 0895 Howrah-Puri weekly Durga Puja superfast special train will leave Howrah at 08.55 pm on every Monday between September 29 and November 27 and reach Puri at 05.50 am on the following days.
The second pair 0808 Puri-Howrah weekly Durga Puja superfast special train will leave Puri at 10.00 pm on every Wednesday between October 1 and October 15 and reach Howrah at 07.05 am on the next days. In the return direction, 0807 Howrah-Puri weekly Durga Puja superfast special train will leave Howrah at 08.55 pm on every Tuesday between September 30 and October 14 and reach Puri at 05.50 am on the following days.
The third pair 0810 Puri-Howrah weekly Durga Puja superfast special train will leave Puri at 10.00 pm on every Thursday between October 2 and October 16 and will reach Howrah at 07.05 am on the next days. In the return direction, 0809 Howrah-Puri weekly Durga Puja Super Fast Special train will leave Howrah at 08.55 pm on every Wednesday between October 1 and October 15 and will reach Puri at 05.50 am on the following days.
0839/0840 Howrah-Chennai-Howrah weekly special train will leave Howrah on October 4 and 11 at 04.10 pm (Saturday) and will arrive Chennai at 09.45 pm (Sunday). In the return direction, this train will leave Chennai on October 6 and 13 at 10.30 pm (Monday) and reach Howrah at 03.20 pm (Wednesday). The stoppages for this train will be at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road , Bhubaneswar , Khurda Road , Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam , Rajahmundry , Eluru, Vijayawada , Ongle, Nellore , Gudur between Howrah and Chennai.
0835/0836 Hatia-Secunderabad-Hatia weekly special train via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur Rayagada and Vizianagaram will leave Hatia on October 16, 23 and 30 at 06.20 am (Thursdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 10.30 pm (Fridays). In the return direction, the train will leave Secunderabad on October 18 and 25 and November 1 at 03.35 pm (Saturdays) and will reach Hatia at 07.15 pm (Sundays). source: http://www.kalingatimes.com
