Army recovers guns

HAILAKANDI, Sept 21: In a sudden operation by the 27 Field Regiment of Army based at Masimpore searched the house of one suspected linkman Saraf Uddin Laskar (27) and seized two country-made guns today morning at Boalipar part-I which is 4 km away from district headquarters and handed over to Hailakandi Sadar Police Station. NK (GD) Rajkumar of Army’s 27 Field Regiment also lodged an FIR in the police station today. The accused Saraf Uddin Laskar was arrested and the police investigating against the violation of Illegal Arms Act, said police sources.
