Long-distance buses to operate from ISBTBy A Staff Reporter GUWAHATI, July 12 – The State Government has decided to shift the long-distance inter-district buses operating from Paltan Bazar to the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Betkuchi in the city with effect from July 15.The passengers will continue to get their tickets at the Paltan Bazar station as usual and adequate number of connecting ASTC city buses will be available from the Paltan Bazar ASTC station to the ISBT, Betkuchi, an official release said. The present arrangement of running short-distance private buses from Adabari and in the case of ASTC buses from Machkhowa will continue as usual until further order.
