The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) today declared the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination. Out of the 38,056 students who appeared for the SSLC examination, 21,825 students came out succesful while 9,267 out of 17,269 students were declared pass in the HSSLC examination.The overall pass percentage of the SSLC examination is 57.35 per cent. The pass percentage of the regular male candidates is 80.10 per cent, while that of the female candidates is 78.47 per cent. In the HSSLC results, the girls outshone the boys. With an overall pass percentage of 55.62 per cent, the female pass percentage is 67.72 per cent while the pass percentage of boys is 61.51 per cent. In the non-regular category, the percentage of successful female candidates is 28.08 per cent while those of the males is 26.09 per cent.
